ooked at my photos. I do wish he was a bit more critical with my photos. I want the dirty truth of how bad (or good) my photos were. But I think he was holding back since we weren't professional photographers. That night we went through Steve’s photographs and their stories. The next day we were out in the city shooting anything we could find interesting. It was hard asking people to pose, but after couple of rejections (and some nasty comments) I had more confidence than I though existed. By the end of the day I was running up to people like i knew them all my life and asking them if I could shoot them. Having my one-on-one with Seth (the crew) allowed me to find ways to get the subjects attention. He was extremely good on finding a person and automatically bonding with him/her, where I would normally be too shy to approach that person. Shortly after shooting with Seth I had my one-on-one with the one and only, Steve Mc Curry. He shot quite a bit of me, which I wasn’t expecting. Then he allowed me to shoot him a little and I wish I could do it again because I wasn’t really thinking straight. I was too nervous around him to take him to a better background or ask some good questions.

wheew!
